NationsHeart Christian Community is a dynamic community which operates within a solid, yet flexible structure. We are affiliated with the network of Churches of Christ in Australia.

The Elders are endorsed members of our community, chosen for their spiritual leadership. They provide spiritual oversight of our community. The Elders are led by Chair Kara Potter - and meet monthly for prayer and discussion.

The Ministry Team are leaders set apart to serve out church. Our Ministry Team Leader Ron Blanchard, is assisted by Pastor Naomi Giles, Pastor Jenny Moore and Worship Coordinator Sharon Cheesman. Our MTL works full time, while Pastor Naomi Giles works part time and the rest of the team volunteer their services. The Ministry Team meet weekly for prayer and planning, and are responsible for the day-to-day ministry of the church.

The Management Team are responsible for the physical structure of the church building and its resources. Led by Marc Blackmore this team oversees all maintenance, upgrade projects and administration.

The Executive involves our Chair of Elders, MTL and Management Team Coordinator. The Executive meets monthly to ensure all parts of the church leadership structure are communicating well.

The Finance Team oversee the day-to-day financial management of the church. The team is made up of the treasurer Bruce K, Book-keeper Alison S, MTL and Elder Jason L.

Office Administration is provided by volunteers - with occasional assistance from our work for the dole participants. This ministry is overseen by Beth Weatherstone - who gives her time each Thursday and Friday afternoon to coordinate this ministry.

Our Chaplain is Barbara Kennedy - who provides ministry to the elderly and people with special needs. Barbara networks through our Rough Diamonds program and many of the Aged Care Residential facilities in Canberra.

Our Ministry Team Assistants Nick and Beth Weatherstone work alongside the Ministry Team to facilitate various ministry tasks throughout the week. Beth focuses most of her time on coordinating the administration needs of the church while Nick multi-tasks in practical help as well as creative design (and overseeing this website!)
